Caesar Creek—Indian Summer Campout
Please visit one of our regional parks, Caesar Creek State Park, on October 3-4, 2008, for their Indian Summer Campout. Schedule available in the Camp Office.
Friday, Oct. 17, 2008
4:00pm Commissary: Come buy a ticket in the commissary to receive bean soup and cornbread, served on the back patio.
8:00pm Movie: Come see the Wizard of Oz and enjoy free popcorn at the Amphitheater.
9:00pm Campsite Judging Begins, Categories are: Scariest, Best Use of Lights, Best Special Effects, and Scariest Haunted House. Winners will be announced on the Big Stage and posted at the Commissary and Camp Office on Saturday at Noon.

All Day Cornhole Boards: Available all day next to the Naturalist Cabin.
8:00am Commissary: Come in for Breakfast.

DISPLAYS SET-UP IN THE PARKING LOT NEXT TO THE NATURALIST CABIN. DISPLAYS WILL
INCLUDE:
TOM RAPER RV’S, GANDER MOUNTAIN, SOUTH SHORE MARINA, WILMINGTON FIRE DEPARTMENT, CLINTON COUNTY D.A.R.E. PROGRAM, AND THE DIVISION OF WATERCRAFT.
10:00-12:00pm Kid Games: Enjoy old and new favorites- egg toss, predator and prey, balloon-pop tag, corn relay, sack races, and more!
10:00-12:00pm Demonstration of Flint Knapping: Arrowheads
12:00-4:00pm Horse Drawn Wagon Rides: Pick-up and Drop-off at the dump station.
1:00pm Family Craft Time: Make and take your own Cornhusk Dolls—bring your own chair and meet by the Shelter House (scissors, string, and cornhusks provided).
2:00-4:00pm Live Music: Come enjoy Bluegrass music on the Big Stage.
3:00-4:00pm K-9 Demonstration: Meet behind the naturalist cabin to see a K-9 Unit in action.
4:30-6:00pm Trick-or-Treat in the campground.
9:00pm Night Hike: Meet at the Naturalist Cabin and don’t forget your flashlight.

FALL CAMPOUT TRICK-OR-TREAT PROGRAM, ALL VISITORS TO THE CAMPGROUND WILL BE
REQUIRED TO PURCHASE A $5.00 DAILY VEHICLE PASS. ONCE THE CAMPGROUND HAS
REACHED THE MAXIMUM PARKING CAPACITY, ALL INCOMING VEHICLES WILL NOT BE
PERMITTED VEHICULAR ACCESS TO THE CAMPGROUND BETWEEN THE HOURS OF
4:30-6:00PM. PLEASE BE AWARE THAT RESTROOM FACILITIES WILL BE CLOSED FROM
2:30-8:00PM, IN THE CAMPGROUND AREA, DUE TO HIGH VOLUME WATER AND SEWAGE USAGE
LAST YEAR. PORTABLE RESTROOM FACILITIES WILL BE IN PLACE FOR USE AT THIS
TIME. PLEASE BE AWARE OF THIS PROCEDURE AND PLAN WITH YOUR GUESTS AND FAMILY
