Camping

General Information:

The Caesar Creek State Park Campground offers Class A camping facilities for you and your family to enjoy the beauty of nature, the fun of the state park, or simply get away from the bustle of everyday life for just a few days or up to two weeks.

The campground has 287 shady or sunny spots.  Every site offers electric. Each spacious camp site offers a paved pad that can accommodate at least a 35 foot trailer or RV, pop-up, tent, or other camping unit, 20 and 30 amp electrical hookups, a picnic table, and a fire ring.  Bath houses, shower houses, water faucets and waste drains are all nearby everywhere in the campgrounds.  There is also a convenience store located in the Check-In Station with food and various camping supplies as well as a campground boat ramp.  A dump station is available free of charge for campers.

The campground also has miles of hiking trails that criss-cross between roads.  It is adjacent to the state park mountain bike trail and a short drive from the Little Miami Scenic Trail. Junior Naturalist programs are run every weekend as well.

Fees:

All camp sites have a base rate of $25.00 per night on weekdays, $26.00 per night on weekends, and $27.00 per nights on holiday weekends.  Extra vehicle passes and visitor / day passes are $3.00 per vehicle per day. Please call for winter camping rates. The following discounts are honored for camping fees:

For any discount to be honored, the camper must have proof of membership/status on hand (An official Cardinal Camper Card, official D.O.V. letter, etc.)

Reservations:

Reservations is now available by visiting www.ohiostateparks.org or calling 1-866-OHIOPARKS. With the reservation system you can now pick what campsite you would like to stay at and call up to 6 months ahead for the time that you would like to camp.  First-come/first-served sites are available on a limited basis.

Parking Pass Policy:

Every vehicle within the campgrounds is required to display a valid parking pass on its review mirror.  Every registered campsite is entitled to having two vehicles on site free of charge.  A third vehicle is allowed on site with a $3.00 per day extra vehicle pass. When you register for a campsite, two vehicles passes will be made out. If you only have one vehicle at the time you register, campground staff will hold the second vehicle pass at the Check-In station so that it can be given to the second vehicle when it comes in.

Any other vehicles entering to visit or use any facilities (The Boat Ramp, Showers, etc) will be charged for a $3.00 car pass. Anyone wishing to use the dump station will be charged a $10.00 dump fee.

If a visitor does not wish to pay for a car pass, they may park in the parking lot by the Check-In station for free and then walk to their destination.
