Horseman's Campground
The Horseman's Campground at Caesar Creek State Park offers an
excellent opportunity for Horseman to visit The Park for an extended time.
Located on Furnas-Oglesby Road off of St. Rt. 73, the Horse Camp offers 25 non-electric sites, a shelter house with electric service, latrine and wells
with non-potable water. Three of the bridle trails are accessible directly
from the campground.
To check in at the Horse Camp, campers must self register. Each
campsite costs $11.00 per night.
Limitations on Camping:
- No more than six persons per site
- No more than 200 square feet of total tent area
- No more than two pets or horses per site
- Horses are only permitted on trails an other designated areas.
Absolutely no horses inside fenced areas.
- Any person under the age of 18 must have written permission from a parent
or guardian in order to camp.
General Rules:
- Absolutely no use or firearms or fireworks is permitted in the
Campgrounds.
- Fires are only allowed in Firerings, stoves, and grills.
- Do not move the Firerings
- Collecting firewood and/or cutting trees is prohibited.
- Do not tie or hang cloths lines, tent lines, lanterns, pet leads, etc to
tree.
- Quite hours are from 10pm to 7am and are enforced.
- Open consumption of beer or other intoxicating beverages is prohibited.
